Mental Health Advocacy Service’s Back Up Duty Scheme
The Mental Health Advocacy Service’s Back up Duty Scheme (MHAS BUDS) allocates Mental Health Review Tribunal (MHRT) duty work in the Sydney metropolitan area.
Private practitioners who are currently an approved associate of a Law Practice on the Legal Aid NSW Mental Health Panel are invited to apply to be appointed to MHAS BUDS through an Expression of Interest (EOI) Process coordinated by the Civil Law Executive.
Please submit your EOI by completing the MHAS BUDS EOI application form (PDF, 131 kb). Forms should be submitted via email to mark.evans@legalaid.nsw.gov.au.
Applications will be provided to a selection committee and to the Executive Director Civil Law or their delegate, where appropriate. It is not intended to disclose any personal information contained in expressions of interests to any other persons.
