Effective from Monday 2 December 2024, the Grants Division will be adjusting our contact hours for telephone inquiries to 2–4pm, Monday through Friday. These changes will allow the team more time to process and consider your applications and requests.
For any telephone inquiries we kindly request that you contact us during these specified hours. Please also consider submitting correspondence through Grants Online on the relevant file as an alternative to calling.
Grants Online is the portal for law practices to submit applications for legal aid on behalf of their clients. In order to conduct business with Legal Aid NSW, private Law Practices, including barristers, are required to register to access Grants Online.
This enables associates at the Law Practice to:
A registered principal of a Law Practice or barrister can access the Panels Application website to apply for appointment to panels.
Family dispute resolution practitioners (FDRP) must be registered for Grants Online in order to submit invoices for FDRP fees at legally aided conferences.
