Professional development

Legal Aid NSW depends strongly upon the skills of private practitioners and our in-house staff to achieve results for the community. We support our people to learn and develop in a team environment by offering training and self-development initiatives. These include face-to-face courses, online learning activities and annual conferences.

Many Legal Aid NSW learning activities are open to private practitioners and to our partners including community legal centres and Aboriginal Legal Services.

You can view and register for courses through our Learning Management System (LMS).

To access LMS, you will register using your Microsoft work account (the same password you already use for work). Please note the password is different from the password you use for Grants Online.

Your account must be registered to log in to LMS. To register, complete the LMS registration form. To sign in now with your Microsoft account, log in to LMS.

If you have any questions about our courses or conferences, please email learning@legalaid.nsw.gov.au.
