The Lawyer Education Series has been developed for lawyers, not self-represented parties. The training modules assume a high level of foundational legal knowledge because they are made for lawyers. The modules are not a complete guide to the law and should not be relied upon for the preparation of your case.
If you require legal help you should call 1300 888 529.
This training module is the second part of a two-part series on Summary Crime. It provides participants with fundamental skills for practice in the summary jurisdiction of the Local Court. This training module contains information about section 4 applications in annul convictions, Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders, support and treatment referrals, District Court Appeals, Supreme Court bails, traffic offences and police powers. Participants will be equipped with knowledge on where to find and apply Legal Aid NSW eligibility policies and guidelines in Criminal Law matters.
