National Disability Insurance Scheme Service

Legal Aid NSW statewide specialist service.

Legal Aid NSW can give you free legal help if you have a problem with the NDIS.

We can help people who:

  • want to become participants in the NDIS.

Advice and assistance

We can give you free independent advice about your NDIS problems. We can tell you about your rights and what you can get from the NDIS.

We may be able to help you if:

  • the NDIA rejected your application to be a participant in the NDIS
  • you are not happy with the funding in your NDIS plan, or
  • you do not think you have enough funding for your disability supports and services.
Representation

If you’re not happy with a decision the NDIA makes you can challenge the decision.

You can find more information about this in the brochure Not happy with a National Disability Insurance Scheme decision?
