It’s what we stand for

A series of staff video interviews, podcasts and staff profiles to showcase the incredible contribution Legal Aid and its staff have made from 1979–2019.

About this video series

Over the past 40 years (1979–2019) Legal Aid and its staff have made an incredible contribution to the administration of justice and the lives of the most vulnerable people in NSW.

We are celebrating the diversity and depth of talent within our organisation through a series of staff video interviews, podcasts and staff profiles.

Part 1

In this episode, we asked our lawyers if Legal Aid lawyers real lawyers, and what they stand for as a Legal Aid lawyer.

Part 2

In this episode, we asked our lawyers why disadvantaged groups get their own lawyers.

Part 3

In this episode, we asked our lawyers why they choose to work at Legal Aid NSW rather than a private firm, and if they have ever represented someone in court when they knew in their heart that the person was guilty.
