Data Breach Policy

This policy outlines the approach of Legal Aid NSW in complying with the Mandatory Notification of Data Breach (MNDB) Scheme.

Public Notification Register

This page provides details of the public notification of an eligible data breach under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) (PPIP Act).

A public notification may be provided when it is not reasonably practicable to notify any or all of the individuals affected by the breach directly.

A list of any public notifications made by Legal Aid NSW can found below. Legal Aid NSW will retain notifications in the register for a period of 12 months.
